Fall is here, and I’m putting the finishing touches on a new recording project, which I’m very excited about. It’s the product of some very fruitful and symbiotic collaborations; these tracks are a bit of a departure for me, and they stretch me in new directions. The album was mixed and mastered in Beachwood Canyon by the extraordinary Rick Parker (Lord Huron, The Ravonettes, BRMC), who produced two of the songs. I also got a chance to record up in beautiful Ojai, California, in a peaceful orange grove, with the mega-talented Oliver Newell (He’s My Brother, She’s My Sister), who has converted a vintage airstream trailer into a magical music studio. So if you happen to detect the sound of crickets in the background, you’ll know why. It was a very inspiring and memorable place to make music. Other wonderful collaborators include strings wiz Stevie Blacke (Beck, Rhianna, Colbie Caillat) and Joshua Merrill.
I can’t wait to unveil this record to the world, and I want it to have the best shot that it can, to be heard and experienced. As an indie artist, I am raising funds to help ensure that it receives the attention it’s due. If you feel inspired to help me make that a reality, then please visit my Indiegogo page to take a look at all the fun perks and rewards I’ve created, to thank you for your support. Or you can donate via the secure link here on my website. I am forever grateful!!
I also have some Los Angeles shows coming up at some really lovely, intimate venues. I hope to see you there.
Thank you so much, and stay tuned. Much love,
