Greetings from a hibernating recording bear! I have just emerged from the studio with 29 new recorded tracks. Phew. I re-recorded several of the songs from my first record and have more than enough for a second record (and possibly a third!) finished as well... Finally! Thanks for your patience while I figure out the best way to get all this new music into the world in some sort of productive fashion! In other news, I'll be playing my first live show of the year on February 28th at the Palms in West Hollywood. I'm thrilled that Joe Ayoub and Richard Gowen will join me on bass and drums. Happy New Year everyone! I have a great feeling about 2011.

I'm privileged that two of my songs, "Happy Endings" and "Feel It Coming" are featured in a new documentary about Cystic Fibrosis called "The Power of Two." It's an incredibly inspiring and moving story about two sisters living with the disease. There are a number of other wonderful artists on the soundtrack, including Juliette Commagere, Tim Easton, Pedestrian, Remy Zero, and Haroula Rose. The movie will be released this spring, stay tuned! And join "The Power of Two" on facebook for screening updates in your area.

Join me at the first Beachwood Canyon Song Circle, where four songwriters -Keaton Simons, Rob Giles, Simone White, and I will share the stage performing songs in a round. The show is free, but donations are appreciated! We go on at 8pm. Doors at 7:30. Wine, cheese, and snacks will be served. Kids are welcome! The venue is the lovely and magical Besant Lodge, home to the Theosophical Society Church, at 2560 N. Beachwood Drive, Los Angeles, 90068.

Very honored to have been part of last night's performance at the Safety Harbor Kids benefit. My song "The Holidaze" is on the compilation, sales of which pay to foster kids who have no support system. Jackson Browne, Inara George, Jimmy Webb, and Sheila E are also on it!
